can you help a friend. her computer keeps switching on/off. I think it could be programmes not being compatible. If so how can she cure it when the computer refuses to stay on. Help anyone pse brenda

Think you may need expert help on this one. And I'm not an expert sorry!! Had somehting similar myself - it was a virus that made it shut down every few seconds - really b****y annoying. Took mine along to some computer expert friends who cleaned it all up for me. Sorry that's not much help. Kxx

It is a Blaster Worm some one will need to go on the net and get the blaster patch from microsoft then she will need to unplugg from internet then run worm detection after killed it install the patch that you get with it

had the same prob myself once turned out that the PSU FAN had stopped Paul
