Harry, I agree with you wholeheartedly Politicians are all in for what they can get either power or money. Look at Tonys cronies who were thrown out for bad behaviour, akll reinstated with big money, look at Mandelson brenda |

Kerry, I,m afraid it,s me again, trying to give you the voice of experience. I don,t think the Tories will win but if they do, at best, there will be just a marginal improvement. I,m afraid I have heard it too many times before. The Israelites in the bible were looking for the promised land and never found it; nor will me. Sorry to be a realist. Our hands are going to be tied by Europe anyway, but that,s another story. I was a Policeman for 30 years - our cells WERE hard until reformers ruled that they must be more user friendly. Happy days. |

I`ve read today that Tory leader Michael Howard promises minimum and maximum jail sentences and that prisons would have to serve the minimum term in full before even being considered for parole. Is this going to be an empty promise though? Although I don`t know much about politics, the tories look like they may win but are these empty promises?? This country is in a poor state and dont think Blairs "bribes" of money for babies will make much difference. I`m a 20year old mum with a 4month old and I will be recieving this "bribe", but too be honest alot of people don`t want it. Hopefully if the Tories do get elected then they will fulfill their promises and make Britain a better place to live and bring up our children.... I dread to think what the country will be like in 20 years when my son is a young adult!!!! |
