was in the car with daughter, she was driving, we had just taken flowers to cemetary for mum, as we drove past the high school a young lad outside, his mates in the grounds on skate boards, he was wandering as best he could with parcel tape round his mouth arms taped to body, skateboard taped to back and down his legs to his ankles , if he wanted to shout he couldnt, accident waiting to happen, i said to daughter turnroundand ill undo him as we turned a corner i see 2 coppers in car parked, one of which came here friday on malicious 999 call(nothing to do with us and ntl are investigating) i explained and the copper laughed, i told him if he was distressed you wouldnt know he couldnt move legs arms or shout, they said well go and have a look now , continued to deal with an abandoned car on side of road !!!!!!!!!!!! |

Seems to me as if they were just some kids messing about. (Unless I've missed something) Surely police have got better things to do than supervise their silly games. Like I said, unless I have missed something but that's how it seems to me from what you've told us. |

daniel i know it was a prank probably , and realise police have more important things to do than supervise games, i wasnt asking them to do that, but in hind sight had i stopped to help i could have been accused or messing with a young man, and stupid pranks usually end in serious sometimes fatal accidents, and the abandon car with a broken wing mirror , parked on side of road was not important, they were not dealing with a serious matter, or i would have gone back myself had i been driving , regardless of the consiquences , trust me, i cant stand seeing someone in danger or being put in danger, would you do something like that daniel? jackie dunno if they undone him but daughter just called and said as she drove past road police were parked they had gone , and its only round next corner, |

The police could have helped him, but what are they supposed to do next? Say to the group, don't do it again? The guy tied up probably was all for it as a laugh, to impress etc. Seeing as we don't know exactly what went on, I just see this as a stupid and dangerous prank they all played. |

does that matter, whether they are 8-11, 11-20, it still doesnt hurt to go and say look lads thats dangerous, they dont think of what could happen , thats why they have to be told, i didnt get their ages but i believe as i used to be their dinner lady, they would now be between 12 and 14 have you got out of bed the wrong side daniel today? |

No, but I'm thinking about it from a different angle. The reason I asked their age was that if they were young kids then, yes, ok maybe they don't know any better, but my age and above (which is what I expected), then they should have the sense not to do that and if they get hurt then it's their own stupidity. If I was there and seen what you did maybe I would understand better but as I see it now that's what I think. |
