Is Tony Blair a sheep? What I mean is, will he follow Bush into every country he declares war on?I`m not very big on politics,it baffels me, but having been to Iraq myself and having lost friends there it angers me, that now Bush wants to go to Iran, Will we follow him?? Is Blair going to send us in there and god knows how many more will be killed in their line of duty! I know it`s our job and we all serve our country but what are our brave men and women(my collagues) dying for??? I know some people will completly disagree with me, but being in the Forces I feel so strongly about this. |

Kerry, it scares the life out of me that Tony feels he must suck up to Bush (who now has nothing to loose as he can't stand for presidency again) I pray that Blair doesn't send our troops into Iran. Just how many enemies does he want to make ? There are countries far closer to home whose human rights abuses are far worse than any committed in Iraq or Iran but I don't see Blair wanting to intervene. I think Blair is hoping to find some sort of position for himself on the world stage once he is no longer President errr Prime minister. I guess he couldn't just go back to being a barrister again as Cherie is much better at it than him. |

I can highly recommend reading "Stupid white men" by Michael Moore. I put off reading it for ages as I thought it may be too much of a hard slog but it is an easy read. Problem is, I can see a similar path being taken in this country in the near future. |

Has anybody other than myself realised that Tony Blair and his crowd of looneys are suddenly about to tackle the following a) Take steps to get to grips with immigration. b) Try to disassociate himself with Bush at this time in view of the latters statement on Iran. c) Cooling off on 24 hour drinking. d) Bribe electors with money for babies. It's about time this country woke up to the fact that Blair is aiming for one thing and one thing only . That is a one party state. For gods sake forget all the bribes and promises etc he has done it allbefore and what ab****y mess we are in Full employment ,the only reason that we have it is because the unemployed are travelling on a switchback from one set of statistics to another. I beleive that Whitehall warrior has the right idea 3yearly elections and no more than 2 terms for aprime minister. Its the only sure way of obliterating the sleeze spin and downright lies that have been served up and will continue to be served up as long as Blair has the rains. |

With an election only months away, my money is on Blair keeping very quiet for now about a strike on Iran, no matter what Bush or Condoleeza Rice might be saying. |

Kerry, I can very much understand how upset you must be - I fought in Korea and lost several friends (18 year old national serviceman). Although backed by the united nations it seemed an un-necessary involvement. Since the second world war we have been in other skirmishes which with hind-sight perhaps didn,t have right on their side. Will history judge Tony Blair as harshly as most of us do now? Nobody commits his nation to war unless he is convinced his cause has merit. I,m just trying to give another side to the story. I,m not a labour supporter but I think TB means well - he will feel the loss more deeply than most. Very best wishes |

I understand what your saying Harry(fellow Hayes) but it was said that there were no Weapons of Mass Destruction ever found, so why did we go in with that evidence. Tony Blair needs to strap on a set of balls and stop hiding in George Bush`s Shadow. Our men and women are still out their, trying to make Iraq better for the people and for what??? To get killed for their efforts. I say pull out the troops and let them get on with it. Also where was USA when we asked them for help regarding the IRA???? but the minute they get into a conflict, they run to us!!! |

I thought they had said that they wouldn't follow the USA if they invaded Iran. Perhaps I heard wrong. |
