I just wondered if any of you still live in the country where you were born or if you are all over the world. My grandmother has been on holiday but has always lived in the small village where she was born. Lucia :-)

Most of my family are at home, but my cousin is in North Carolina and his sister is going to Japan to work on a cruise ship. She is a dancer and she was in the Carribean last year. My grandmother's cousin emigrated to New Zealand. I was born in Sussex, but now live over 300 miles away from there. Lucia :-)

I have been living in the North East, for 8 years now. Remarried and only have my two youngest children 21 and 15yrs living with us. My two eldest daughters and three Grandsons, Mum and all the rest of my brothers and sisters still live in the Midlands 230 miles away. It has only been the last few months that I am really missing them. I would never want to go back to live there again, but wish i could just pop on a train for a couple of hours and be with them, whenever i wished. But it takes six hours by train and taxi and costs about £80. I do not drive and hate motorway travel, to the point that I could do with Valium or something each time we go down in the car. Would not mind moving half way, so I could just pop on the train. Jenny.

Not moved out of the UK - yet - but am the only one of 4 siblings that has moved around very much at all. Childhood in SE London, married and moved to West London, divorced and moved to West Sussex worked in Hampshire and now living in Kent. My brothers and sister still live within 10 miles of where we spent our childhood. May yet move back to West London, who knows!! Jan
