Hotmail have cut me off?

My E mail facility has been cut off with a message to contact Hotmail as they are worried about my spam filter. In blue they give the address to call but it is unrecognised.(repeatedly). I have spoken from a distance to my "expert" and he thinks it is someone trying to hack on to my details. Does that ring a bell with anyone.? Any advice welcomed.

May I add that the name of the company has been cut out of my heading and message body after I posted it, so it might not make sense.

That is worrying. I am not very well up on computers and it would certainly get me in a flap. Deanna

I don't believe any ISP will cut you off because of worries about your filter. This sounds much more like a hacking attempt.

Deanna/Brian, thanks. Brian, that,s what my son said and he will attend to it when he visits. I am not very computer literate - it looked genuine to me , but thereagain that,s probably how they work. Best wishes to you both.

Yes it WAS a hacking attempt. To a novice like myself it looked absolutely genuine - so genuine in fact that I was not tending to believe my son when he said that it was probably a hacker - which he has since proved to me. Now back in business. Many thanks to all
