I think football refs put up with a huge amount of verbal intimidation and aren't shown much respect by either the players or spectators. In a small game they could abandon the match, but it would be impossible to do that nowadays with all the sponsorship/tv money riding on each game. I think he is aloud mouthed yob I understand some of his relatives are boxers and it shows in him.No football player no matter how good should be allowed to get away with the type of antics he gets upto. Mind its not completely his fault its the system that allows vast sumsof money to be paid for very little work.
