Thank you everyone. I have just found your messages. I thought I had solved the problem when I saw Bobs. I went in to check and my Norton Firewall had somehow got switched off but I have put it back on and I still have the flashing ad. Anyway, thanks for all your advice. Much appreciated. Chrissie

You can always try the "Text Only Site". Just tried it - huge writing, but no flashing. Pauline

I have heard you all talk about flashing adverts and wondered what you meant - NOW I KNOW. I have never had them before but this time when I went to my favourites, instead of coming straight in, I had to log on. I can't stand this - it will give me migraine in no time. PLEASE help, how do I get rid of them:(((( Chrissie
