Hi Ann, Cor that was lucky - you just caught me having a quick browse!! If it's the ones I think you mean, I have a sort of lollipop stick thing to rub them really hard with. Any help? Mandy :) |

Thanks, Linda and Elizabeth. Yes that is what the instructions said and I did. One I did - a flower was fine, came off easily, the others, both dragonflies I treated exactly the same and they didn't despite peeling gradually and going back several timess. Mandy - Hi, Yes i have a sort of lolly stick too. Looks like I am just incompetent then!!! I'll have another go. By the way, supposed to be doing housework so this is probably my 'punishment'! Thanks all. Ann Glos |

I bought the stuff you are supposed to be able tospray onto any picture you would like to transfer to fabric.I followed the instructions explicitly and then you have to iron this on to the fabric from the reverse side.It didn't work.I do wonder some times if IT SEEMS LIKE A GOOD IDEA to the poeple who invent the new process, but they never fully test it out.-Rose I wanted to stitch miniature tapestries for my dolls house.I do a lot of work in miniature and I had seen a lovely design in an advert for the real things in a mag.So I thought I could adapt it with the kit. |

Frustrating isn't it Rose? Have you asked on here if anyone has used it? Not heard of it myself. Could you adapt small cross stitchcard designs for your doll's house tapestries? Ann Glos |

thanks for that Sylvia. Caz, I have the same problem. I could give to the charity I help with as a trustee but was not happy to hear they would only charge about 10-15p each for them because people wont pay the money in charity shops expecting something for nothing.. Even though I am happy to donate them for nothing and bear the expenses myself i don't feel i wan to let them sell them so cheaply. The materials cost more than that. Ann Glos |

I think some of you already know that I work in a school and sell mine in the staffroom. Perhaps you know of someone who would be willing to sell them in their place of work for you? The staff at my school happily pay £2 each for them; they know that it's £1 to cover the cost of materials (averaged out over the cheaper ones and dearer ones!) and £1 to our local hospice. It saves them a mad rush out at lunchtime to buy a card for family or friends, and they like the idea of making a donation to charity too. Also, I find that I can just about keep up with the demand, it's not like having to keep a local shop supplied and getting inundated with orders (or letting them have a big profit!). Hope this helps, Mandy :) |

Hi Yes the rub ons I tried peeled the top layer off the card, but wouldn't stick properly. I think it was the type of paper I used. I prefer to do decoupage myself. JJ |

Anyone interested in 'All Our Yesteryears' cross stitch patterns? I've made three lovely pictures but think it is a pity to throw the patterns away and I'll never make them again. Sylvia xxx |
