Just wanted to know how easy these are for members at GR to lookup... I'm from Canada and while I have a few I wish to take a look at, don't wanna be asking, if it's going to put people out of their way. Thanks

Hi Gordon, Some of us have purchased discs with copies of records for particular parishes, some of us are regular visitors to County records offices and are happy to do a look up while there. If you post a request on the Records Office board, naming the parish the you are interested in you may get lucky with someone who has access to the records.Good luck Judith

Some family history Societies have microfilmed or cd rom copies of the parish records, alternatively you can order the microfiche of the parish records through your local LDS church (see familysearch website for details of where your local church is) they only charge about £4 and they keep the parish records for about 2 months for you to view.
