It's so tragic when this happens. We have a permanent memorial to a young woman firefighter who lost her life when our local Co-Op burned down. The whole community mourned her. Stevenage will no doubt do the same. My heart goes out to their friends and family. Magsxx |

I am sorry to hear this. Having many friends who are Firefighters, I know how hard this sort of tragedy hits their work and family communities. My thought go out to their families and colleagues. Jacky x |

In Hertfordshire today two firemen died trying to rescue someone from a high rise block of flats in Stevenage. I'd just like to pay a tribute here. God bless their families and colleagues and help them in this difficult time. RIP. Joanne. |
