Sioux I know it is early days, but do consider going to your nearest rescue centre, as there are lots of lovely ferrets just begging for good homes. My Tolly came from a centre to replace one that I had die on me and he is the most loveable ferret going. Lyndaxx |

So sorry to hear that, Sioux. I hope the poor sister is not too lonely either. I still miss my hamster, Bailey. She died before Christmas. I have a new hamster, Minstrel, but she's not the same as lovely Bailey. |

I don't know yet Dorothy. I'll have to contact the guy we had our girls from. We've had them from kitts, they're only 6 months old, and it's harder to take on an older ferret if you don't know it's background. I just feel so awful for her.... poor mite. Sioux |

I've had a bloody awful evening..... We let our 2 ferrets out each evening and they have the free run of the kitchen and utility.Everything has been made ferret friendly so they can't hurt themselves or escape. There was a crash in the utility at ten to eight, and I got up moaning what have the little buggers managed to get up to now .... I went in and the little white one Nipper had somehow managed to pull the ironing board over. The poor little mite was lying there broken and twitching ..... sniff .... she wasn't quite dead and my hubby had to deal with her and bury her in the garden as I was in floods of tears. I had to go and tell the boys and we're all so upset. I feel so bad for her and for her sister now as she's on her own. I keep filling up when I think about it. Some things in life don't half suck :(((( Sioux |
