all charged up and ready to go and my phone is playing up.i can't send a text message, yes i have got credit, i have been trying all day just says message sending failed,any ideas, i took it apart and cleaned it but still no luck,i'm gutted as i put 20 quid on it yesterday!!!!please help

what network could they be busy?? contact them put phone in bin and have a cuppa instead!!!!! just a suggestion Jan

can u call off your phone have you got enough signal?what phone have u got and on what network is it

my phone is with orange, i can ring people but not text.the message number is in place so i can't see why it won't work,

Take it apart again, then try texting again.... if this still doesn't work then check your message centre number is still in tact.... i think it's found in settings.

i stupidly sent a text to big brother last year, ever since they send me txt every night , always smutty, ive sent 2 txt asking to stop but still they come smash phone up maybe?

Clare!! I have same problem with my daughters fone and its Orange too... Maz....how do you add your message centre number back on and how do you find wot it is??? lol Jill x

You would either need to find someone with exactly the same phone and network, or just ring orange and tell them your problem, if it is the message center number, they will tell you the number and how to restore it! Maz x

Clare, your mesage reads like it's a new phone? If so have you contacted Orange and checked your phone settings are correct for sending meassages? It may be that they can update your settings by sending a text to your phone. O2 did with me. XX Sioux
