Carol We all need some encouragement from time to time, whether it is getting a new job, finding our lost relatives on the census, or bringing up children. Thank you for your positive thread, and I wish you every success and happiness in your new post. nell |

carol, thats nice of you to add that, ive been looking for a suitable job for a while, last july just on off chance pop in to local chemist and asked the owner if he had any vacancys and he said yeh, in the dispensary , love the job and we all (well nearly all) have a laugh and get on well, now hubbys looking , trouble is he gets good wage, and has been there since he left army 11 years ago, but works 12 hour nights 5 days a week, hes had enough and is getting so down in the dumps, but needs to find something to take its place, he would have gone into self employed courier, but needs funding first to set up, so i hope he finds something he likes soon, and well done on your job hunting |

Just thought i would give a bit of hope to anyone trying for a job, i was already employed, had been with the same company for 16 yrs but as the job had changed i had really begun to hate it, it had got really boring and i found the physical side tiring, today after 2 years of trying and numerous interviews i have been offered a new job, nearer home no physical work involved. i am over the moon and would just like to say to anyone in the same position dont give up hope, it could be you tomorrow!! |
