Does anyone know how i can obtain a death certificate from Corfu. The man in question was British but had emigrated over there, he died in 1998 in Corfu. I have looked on 1837online but he doesn't seem to of been registered over here for some reason. Any idea's. Dawn |

Try the British Consel/Embassy in Athens. Seem to remember something from the dim and distant pass that any British Subjects had to register at the Consel/Embassy. Certainly remember a friend registering their child's birth there when born in-country. So, I'm guessing deaths are probably treated the same. Worth getting in touch with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London. Good luck. |
