Hi Karen, I too have Family Historian, its a bit different to Family tree Maker, the programme i used before but once you get used to it, its great, but i am not so keen on the trees, how do you find them. Theresa

Hi, Karen, - yes, I got Family Historian (for Christmas). I think it's great, too, although I have a long way to go before doing much more than look at trees. They seem to me to be excellent. It's a pity that FH doesn't do web pages, though. Still, I use one or other of the free programs to do that. I'm looking forward to putting pictures on the tree, one of the features which I liked in the write-up. P.S. - I'm originally from Essex, too. Michael

I use this software too. The only problem is that it prints the diagrams very small. Any advice? Lucia :-)

Hi Lucia, You can change the size of the printed diagrams. Once you have the diagram on the screen select "Diagram" from the options along the top of the screen and then select "Set Diagram Size When Printed" from the drop down menu. You have the option to change the number of lines per page and/or the font size. I've just printed off a tree showing 5 generations of my ancestors complete with their siblings. Had to resist the temptation to include children/grandchildren of all the siblings or I could have papered the whole room :-)
