As many of you will know, our youngest daughter Susie, had a really rough time during last summer. You were all so very kind to us as a family, with messages of support, love, prayers and words of encouragement. Towards the end of October 2004, Susie took the incredibly courageous decision to undertake radiotherapy. This was entirely her decision for which we, as her parent, totally support her. November and December saw us backwards and forwards to the hospital for the planning process, with a start date of the 10th January. We have, today, reached the half-way mark and Susie is doing remarkable well. Far better than we were lead to believe. I have to say that the first week was sheer hell and Susie did not fair too well. She was tired, lethargic, nauseous and sick. The doctor finally putting her on sterods to at least counteract the nausea and sickness. They have worked a treat and now she is eating for Britain! |

A big thank you to everyone for your messages of support. I have printed them off for Susie to read. She is always touch by the messages of good wishes, love, support and especially hugs for her. I have to say that I don't mind in the least administering the hugs. Over the past months we, as a family, have been heartened and cheered by the support offered to us by many and it has been our priviledge getting to know such wonderful and supportive people.
