'Fraid not, but my husband's parents were both born there, and his cousin lives in Earlsdon. CB >|<

Hi Margaret, My Dad comes from Foleshill, so I have a long line of ancestors there. Have some cousins in Stoke and Edgwyck. At the moment I'm doing some research on Old Yard, Paradise, that has dissapeared from the modern maps. Love Coventry and surrounding areas . Kaye.

I live in the Stoke area. Been living here for quite a few years and have seen many changes. If I can help with anything to do with Coventry feel free to ask.

Thanks margaret, Do you ever go to the records office ? I have some marriage dates, early 1800's, that I only have batch numbers for, from the LDS, so I can't order the certs unless I order the film from Salt Lake City. My Grandad used to live in Villiers St. Have they started the new football stadium yet ? Kaye.

I live just over the border in Warwickshire but use the Coventry LDS centre. And haunt Monsoon and Wallis in the precinct. And remember the Locarno. And the Coventry theatre (saw the Beatles there) Do I count? Gwynne

Hi Margaret, My husband and his parents lived in Coventry (Foleshill)until hubbies father died. We are trying to find where he was buried, but no joy yet. Frances

Hi Frances, maybe I can help if you let me know hubbies father full name and date of funeral. I am a funeral arranger and so may be able to help. We have a London Road cemetery, Canley Cemetery and various others round Coventry. If he was buried in a churchyard it would be harder to find unless you knew the name of the churchyard.
