I've lived in Norfolk all my life, how many more of you out there? Meryl

Hi Meryl I was born in Norwich, brought up for a couple of years in Wells -next -the-sea, then after 4 years in Croydon moved back to Norwich where i have been for the past 30 years. Its a great place to live! Yvette

Me !! Although I've lived in Sheffield for about 6 years I was born and brought up in Norfolk, mostly in Little Walsingham (went to secondary school in Wells-next-the-Sea). My genealogy is starting to show that all my family ad infinitum were also from Norfolk with no exceptions. Looking for the following : Nobes and Rutland from Guist Nobbs from Foulsham Taylor from Hindolveston Barnard / Page from Barney Knowles from Hunworth Quantrills from Wymondham and Reynolds from Norwich Moind yer hid, bor !

I'm not from Norfolk but I just found GG Grandfather & mother born there in Shotesham and Tasburgh. Also visited a tiny place called Gorefield twice a year for 5 years with secondary school. 1 week compulsory and 1 week in summer hols. It was wonderful. My school owned an old large vicarage. Amazing place but I think it probably got sold when school closed down. Hope it's not derelict now... Naomi

Hi I was born in Nottingham, moved to Norfork in 1983 to Rollesby, Lowestoft, Halvergate, Reepham left in 1991. Now in Lincoln. My husbands family live in Loddon. His dad's side of the family are REEVE from the Needham area and Mum's are SEAMAN. from the Mitford area. Just getting into all of this, working only on the internet for research.
