He admitted that he had a new lawn put down 3 weeks ago and actually said out loud - I need about 4 weeks of rain to help the lawn bed in!! Well he got his wish but I have now said out loud - God I want him strung up!! ;O)

My lawn has never looked so good. All this rain has been very benificial to it. I can now see why people have those sprinkler things going all the time in good summers to keep the grass looking lush and green. But the lawn is now lovely so can the rain stop now please.

Makes me laugh on Big Brother this year. Last year with the hot summer thier lawn ended up a brown tinder dry mess, and with a hosepipe ban they could do nothing about it. So this year...in preparation for another long hot summer, they laid astroturf! LOL

And there was us blaming a friend who went to Cyprus in April, and brought us back a pottery sun with a big smiley face, to hang in the garden, to guarantee the sun shone on it!

Did away with lawns two years ago so he aint doing ME any good lol Seriously tho , I live in Kent but have family well spread!! There but for the grace go anyone .I DO feel all sympathy for all those affected by the floods, Cant even imagine how I would feel to see the water rising and threatening my home. Shirley
