And although I say so myself she was the most beautiful bride in the world... everything ran smoothly... the ceremony was lovely and the reception a blast....tourists even stopped with their camcorders .. and we got fantastic photograghs taken on the beach.the weather was perfect.and the view from the beach ballroom was stunning...Now all she has to do is learn to live with the name Slaughter.lol Sally xx |

Congratulations to your daughter and her new husband, I hope they are always as happy as they were on their Wedding Day. Did your daughter change the first letter of her surname, it is supposed to be lucky? Both my brothers married women whose surnames were the same letter of the alphabet, i.e stayed Ws. The saying says, 'Change the name but not the letter, change for worse and not for better. ' Well I think it is right in as much as both sils are not very friendly or nice people so for our family the saying is right, but they both came off ok as so far as I know, both my bros treat them very well indeed!! My late Mum was always amazed that despite my brothers never doing a thing at home,they turned into model husbands when the sils got their hands on them lol |
