Last week a little boy arrived on my daughters doorstep and asked her could she cover his certificate with that stuff they use at school that would keep it nice and clean He told her that his certificate was very special and the man at the court had given it to him and that it said he was now legally adopted by his foster parents and that his surname would be the same as theirs He also asked her would she please make sure that all his things at school with his old name on were changed to his new one,and that everyone knew that they would have to call him by his new name and not to forget it had an E at the end He also told her that he was very special because the other foster children that had been with the family had been sent back but they kept him and now he would have a real Mummy and Daddy Bren

Bless the little fella! How nice to see such a good outcome for the little victims in whatever had him put into care himself. We have a half brother and sister in my school going through the same thing. The stability of family life for young ones is so crucial and he will benefit so much from his new normal family. Best wishes to them all. Get that laminator heated up ready for that cert! Lyn x

Oh Brenda that is such a heart warming story. Bless his little heart. I hope that he will always be as happy as he was at that moment. Did your daughter cry, because it made me weep? Deanna X
