Went and got a new PC today as the old one as broken. It's sily how it drives you mad not having one. Especially as it's the school hols and the kids were going spare without it! Pat

Welcome back Pat! Now you are an expert you can tell me how you get all your old stuff (emails, pictures, documents etc) from your old computer to your new one? My PC is getting old (even at only 4 years), the hard drive is getting full and I am soon going to have to think about getting a more up to date model! Dee x

Dee, I wish I knew! I haven't transfered anything over yet! I have my tree on T pages, So i won't have lost that. Everything else i have paper copies of. I learnt from last year when I lost everything, Not to let it happen again! Our old PC was 4 years old, We had been talking about getting a new one, but really could have done without the expense this month, But as I said to Paul, It IS an emergency! lol. Hi again Pat... Yes thanks I am OK...had 4th chemo yesterday, 4 more to go of a different sort. Then radio, herceptin, and arimidex. All for a titchy lump what a palavar eh? By the way I don't seem able to email you? Have you changed your addy? As for the PC, I suppose everything should be backed up from your old pooter onto CD's or flash drives and then reloaded into a new one??? I think it will take forever!
