... a household appliance decides it had enough! My gas cooker turned itself off earlier this week while I was doing a casserole and refuses to turn on again. I have tried sweet talking to it and twiddling it's knobs but it ain't interested!

If you,ve got a "Timer Clock" on the Oven,Check to make sure its not slipped, If it has,that could be the reason its not working. .M.

My dad came yesterday and took it apart, it is strange? i will get someone to come see if they can fix it tomorrow. It's knob is probably worn out from so much use! lol

oh yes, I know that feeling VERY well at the moment! Last Sunday my fridge/freezer packed up - the bloke is finally coming to fix it this tuesday - then on friday the TV picture disappeared. :-( gawd knows how I am going to afford a new one.
am waiting for the 3rd thing and dreading what it will be!
