You are doing the right thing, getting him used to being groomed and having his feet handled. Useful later if if he has to be shod. It is necessary to check them daily anyway as you will quickly spot anything out of the ordinary.
I would cut back on vigorous brushing when the weather gets colder as the oils in his thicker coat will help keep him warm if he lives out.

my boy Tiny Tim

i watched him being born, on my birthday,

i used to talk to him in his mum's belly...
....i know iam mad....lol

he's a palamino and he stand's at 1 and 1/2 foot high

and he love's cuddles

Lynne - Glad to hear your ankle is only badly sprained - thats doesnt sound quite right . but it could have been a lot worse. You rest it and hope it will soon be better.

thank's for that link it doesnt say iam doing him any harm but bonding,

iam not to bad, badley sprained my ankle earlyer,

the usual aches and pain's

but off to see my pony soon

my shetland pony is three months old, and every day i have groomed him and cleaned his feet,

someone has just told me that this can do him harm

he live's out in the field's and tend's to get dirty i dont bath him just brush him clean which he love's,

any advice
