Hi Mandy
Let me know when you are back and we can have a chat.I know what you mean about getting upset when they do-it tears at your heart doesnt it,the first weekend Tom was away I cried my eyes out cos I think it hit me that it had finally happened and he had gone to Uni!!!-even tho you plan for it for God knows how long-but Jordan will be fine ,once he gets into a routine and I bet he has made loads of new mates already!

I'm away from Sunday for a week - going to Plymouth to put flowers on Mum's grave then on into Cornwall for a few days. We then get back, turn around and go up to Norwich to put flowers on the inlaws' grave but we will probably call in to see Jordan on our way back from Norwich.

I only got upset when he was upset, so I'm quite proud of myself lol :)

Poor Tom, hope he feels better soon!

hi Mandy

didnt want to email you yet incase you were "suffering" but I 'm sure he will be fine,its such a huge change for them and they have to do such a lot of adjusting dont they-as long as he is busy he will be ok! We are going to see him weekend after this one-he seems ok but has freshers flu at the moment ,apparently they were warned about colds and sore throats etc and he has gone down with it!
Keep in touch and will email you this weekend!

We had the dreaded 'homesick' phone call last night but he eventually cheered up, and today he's fine again (and gone on a history trip!).
