Thanks for your replies.
If I do go to Windsor, don't know what day it will be.
Am going to stay with my inlaws, and it will be brother-in-law who will be doing the driving - and it all depends on him if I can persuade him to go to Windsor!!

Oh, are car parking prices expensive there?

Hi,
Anyone know anything about Windsor Town?
I may have the chance to go to Windsor for the day soon.
We might visit Windsor Castle, but am wondering what Windsor Town is like? Is it a big town with different things to see? Has it got many shops, and if so what kind of shops? Are there any gift shops there, as well as ordinary shops?
Also hoping that there are some cafes there that are not too expensive!
