I'd lock myself away in a caravan on a large block of land with splendid views and enjoy them while I can until the worst happens

Don't really know how I would react until the time came. There are some scary thoughts of what might happen but no use worrying now for something that might not really happen in the future. Even the destiny to the future can be changed or at least slightly altered.

Gwen.................whatever the future holds for any of us, all we can do is make the best of things.

I may get alzheimers one day, it is in the family...............if I am destined to be a sufferer, I will have to accept it and trust in my family to make sure I have 24/7 care wherever that might be.

I refuse to waste today worrying about what might or might not happen in the future.

Live and enjoy today.............don't wake up tomorrow regretting wasting what could have been a really good day.

I'd live like there was no tomorrow. I'd go out and sky-dive, bungy-jump, climb Mt Everest, smile at every person I met in the street, kiss the dog.............but most of all, I'd tell my family over and over that I love them.

Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday

Make the most of Today and don't worry about tomorrow, it will take care of itself (Que Sera Sera) whatever will be will be

Live each day to the full, I know we all worry about things at times but our future is planned out for us and I don't think there is anything we can do to prevent it. Hopefully it will all be good

Jackie

I have been thinking................and the bad things that have happened in my life have been things I had never thought would happen to me...........they just came out of the blue.

The day I had a serious accident was a glorious day full of fun.

The day my Dad had a massive stroke that led to his death was another ordinary day.

The days other loved ones have died or been taken ill all started off as ordinary happy days.

Live, love, laugh and be happy and kind to each other every day..............you then have strength and support for those bad times we all have sometimes.

The future is just that, the future, however much we try we cannot know exactly what it holds for us, we can try to predict it, but it never seems to happen that way.

10-20 years into the future is a long time away, are you now in the same place you imagined you would be 10 – 20 years ago? The answer for most of us is no.

Over the last 10 – 20 years there have been great discoveries made in many fields. Who would have thought that we would all be walking around with our own personal phones? There have been discoveries made in the medical field; there are people alive today who did not expect to be 10 – 20 years ago.The greatest thinker of our time, Stephen Hawking, would in the past have been locked away out of sight & mind!

In my life I have personally experienced many things I could not predict. For example, in the last 10 – 20 years I have experienced the joy of becoming a Grandmother & the grief of losing one of them when he was only 3.
Some things I could predict but dreaded it happening, like the loss of my Mother, who died this year, aged 92.

We can spend those years worrying about what will happen to us & our loved ones, or live those years hoping that they will be good.
No –one, not even the best scientists in the world can predict our personal future, the road laid out before us. We can walk this road negotiating round the obstacles in our way; throw more obstacles in front of ourselves, making the road even rougher or give up & say we cannot do it.

If we were given a picture of what our life would be like in 10 – 20 years & did not like what we saw, we would live our lives differently, think before we did everything, make different decisions & so change that future!
