Irish Angel Report 28 Oct 2007 12:32

Hello
I have been researching this family now for a long time getting absolutely nowhere it's my dad side of the family.
Dad died when I was 13 so knowledge of his roots are very very little.
I have manage to get my father's birth certificates and grandparents marriage certificate from Ireland. And if it wasn't for the fact that I do have them I would be absolutely convinced that these people never ever existed.
I have manage to get a little bit of information about my grandfather because he was in the war world war one.
But nothing about his life after he left the army and nothing about my father's childhood.
Surely have got to find them somewhere something else I managed to find out about my dad as well is that the he was married in Ireland in 1946.
Sorry to have gone on
these are the people I am research any help would be very very much appreciated thank you in advance.
William Desmond Beatty 26 4 1921 place of birth 63 Murtage road Dublin this was my grandparents house my grandma's parents that only thing I know about my grandma is her maiden name Margaret staines and her Dads name Edward staines.
The address that I am far my grandad was when enlisted into the army 27 Dartmouth road Leeson Park Dublin and that was in 1914 I don't know if there is anybody that can help but I just thought it was worth a try.
Thank you take care Lynne

Hi Shirley
Yes sweetheart this is my grandad I'm so sorry though maybe I wasn't clear enough but that is the only information that I do have about my grandfather is his marriage certificates and is war information.
I just don't know anything about his life before the war after the war and absolutely nothing about my father's childhood.
Thank you so very much though so very kind of you
You take good care
