Good news re Caroline

She has just phoned after having an interview today with the UK's largest chemist. There were two part time positions available, 14 hours and 16 hours. She asked for more hours as she couldn't survive on such a small wage. Her interviewer said she would see what she could do.

She has been offered 30 hours a week!!!! It's only till after Christmas but they are hoping (if she is OK) to extend the contract.

They understand the multiple sclerosis and seem happy to make allowances. This has boosted her confidence tremendously as you can imagine. I am so proud of her. She has a very happy Mum and Dad tonight.

If she can only be successful with her DLA now to help with her additional costs I will be over the moon.

Thanks to everyone who has been in touch re Caroline. She read everything you all had posted when she came home for treatment and wants me to pass her thanks on to you.

Love

Sue xx

She has been trying to get work since May, I know that isn't really long but to her it has seemed an eternity. She felt unwanted and useless..her whole attitude has been lifted which means she will cope much better with her illness too.

Hi Sue.

My Boss has MS, Drives and works full time and I support her workload when I can see she may need it.

Shes a fab boss and her working and fight for independance is what makes her the remarkable woman she is.

She works harder than some people I know without the additional struggle. If she could not work and be independant I think she would be loosing her fight - but for 20 years she has fought tooth and nail against her MS and continues to win.

Sue

I do we have only worked togather a few years and its something I knew very little about but have learned fast.

Do not let her be held back - do not let her hold herself back.

My boss knows a hell of a lot about this subject and even won a case against the council when they tried to stop paying for her homeopathic medicine earlier this year. She is an inspiration - if you ever have any questions pm me and if I dont know about it ill ask my co-worker who I am sure would be happy to help.

Her motto - is fight each day a new fight ....and win :)
