Richard Glastonbury, born c.1625. He is on King Henry VIII military survey and owned a poleaxe, (the kind with a hook on to pull people off their horses) a clacky visor helmet and other weapons. Before that there are other Glastonburys back to 1230, but I can“t connect them up directly to Richard unfortunately. |

Thanks entirely to a lady I have never met (don't even know her name or where she lives) I have a trace back to a Bryan Slater who was born near Cartmel, Lancashire (now in Cumbria) about 1537. |

With thanks to other members of GR I have got back to 1543 on my nans side A'Lee, 1679 on my husbands dads side Abraham. It is mainly 1700's though in my tree. Altough I have strugggled with the MIL's side and only got back as far as 1804 with them. Lynette xx |
