I have a mobile, the most basic type you can get (two tin cans and a very long piece of string) no I jest, I do have a basic mobile, I do not have a clue what the number is, I have never received a call on it, I can push the button to turn it on, I can dial the number, I can press the button to send the call....full stop.

Who ever has the car takes the mobile, just in case of a breakdown.

I buy a mobile phone to make and recieve calls and to send and recieve text messages. If I want to listen to music, surf the net and do other bits and bobs I buy the relevant gizzmos not an add on to my mobile

Catherine, a crawler is someone who sooks up someone elses b.m. Don't think you are one really.

Dave, my local radio dj's were talking about it this morning. What a lot of money for a phone. Could think of better things to spend it on.

On the other hand, if you add up the cost of a basic digital camera, 8Gb flash drive, PDA that can access the internet, MP3 player that will also play video, and the other various functions and the iPhone suddenly looks quite a good buy. It also means you don't need a suitcase to lug it around!

It's called progress and, as usual, Apple are well ahead of the competition.

(And that revolving, touchscreen is fabulous.)
