I don't especially like the traditional red roses and carnations ...usually out of their natural season ,grown indoors and unscented.....

love scented flowers....sweet williams,lilac,lilies

the sweetest bunch I was ever given was at my mum's funeral, a friend came and brought me snowdrops picked from his garden (it was Early in a Feb') , meant so much .

Hi Billy's mum!...I love the scent of freesias, have lots of daffodils in the garden lovely to see and smell them, and hyacinths also.

Merlin, yes the scented sweet-peas are beautiful...some new varieties have lost their scent which is a shame.

oh and wallflowers i like too....

Rose,Get on the "David Austin" Site,They,ve got lots of New Roses,With the Old Fashioned Perfumes,and some are Desease Free. **M**.

Merlin...I know that the 'David Austin' roses are noted for their scents....I have a lovely tea-rose in the garden which has the most beautiful scent...tea and oranges lol ....very prone to black-spot but i can live with that for the aroma....

Freesias and hyacinths - best smell going, and old fashioned roses - have a shrub in my garden called Daphne Odora and smell is amazing - flowers from about March right through the summer

I love any flower wether scented or not but not allowed them in the house due to hubby having severe hayfever, couldn't even have fresh flowers when we got married

I love to get any flowers, but I never have any luck with carnations, as they never open.

Love Sweet peas............. but have to say Orchids too...( I grow them)........ and Lillies...... ok I know they are trad for something else but they are a gorgeous flower.....x
