Anyone have any advice with battling it?

Grapefruit is a good natural diuretic. Also waterfall tablets from the health shop are good at the worst times. I take it this is on a regular basis ie every 28 or so days.

If so try vitamin B6

Keep drinking as much as you can often people cut right down and it really doesn't help.

Agree about the grapefruit and I find orange juice is good too.

And Lemon barley water, Robinsons make it.

Just make sure you drink plenty, you shouldn't be adding to the problem, it will actually help.

Was told by my GP,to have a salt free diet.

I did miss it at first,
salt free butter/spreads,anything you can think of really.
Crisps have a lot of salt in them, so buy the ones without.
It really does work,
I get a bit naughty sometimes, but when I do I really notice the difference.
Drink plenty of water, but leave the fruit juices alone,
thats what was recommended by my GP.
I got a bit fed up with porky feet!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol
Try it.

eat an apple every day....... Cranberry juice....
also if you get Cider vinegar tablets (you have to drink water with them) but they do get rid of water retention they are also good for weight loss.

Going for a good walk will help with the circulation in your legs, which will shift the fluid that gathers in your feet...make sure you do at least 15 mins a day, brisk enough to make you breathe faster and raise your pulse rate.
