I am not a Welsh speaker but living in Cardiff am very familiar with Welsh names and the last four letters sound fine but not the groth - I don't believe there is "th" in Welsh names - sure you've got it correctly?

you're right - it is James - a senior moment - never been to Cyfarthfa Castle - always meant to go - can see it on the hillside when I go to Brecon
