have done the children really silly presents for their stockings this year and have bought them all a tube of fake snow, they just add water to it and it gorws into loads of snow

So if you want a white christmas come to ours.

It would have been cheaper and less messy to give them a bucket of water and tell them it had thawed. Have seen the stuff you are talking about....post details of the aftermath sorry result after Christmas Col :)

I'm sure they will....and children should be messy, I know I was awful! Have a lovely Christmas with your children.
Col xx
PS If you can get hold of some sleighbells attach them to a clothes prop or whatever and tinkle them outside their bedroom window when they are in bed....my Dad did it to me when I was about 5 and wouldnt go to sleep, waiting for 'him' to come. apparently I dived straight under the blankets and didn't emereg till 6am

Now thats a good idea know where I should be able to get some as well.

Usually make reindeer food out of oats and glitter, well the reindeer have to be able to see it dont they, gets scattered on the front lawn

You can also get a magic key to leave outside if you don't have a chimney
Another of Dad's tricks was to leave footprints on the kitchen floor, poor Dad on his hands and knees with his wellies and some dirt while mum knocked Santa's sherry back...Whatever you do I'm sure it will be magical

I just knew were going to ask and the thing is I cant remember. May have been Asda, Wilko's or Woolies as they are the places we went for Christmas stuff this year. The keys are gold and about 8 inches long only cost about £2.99.
There is a website that sells them but I've checked and they have sold out. The address for next year is:

I make the reindeer food too Dawnie, they have to sprinkle the food and shake the bell 3 times so father christmas knows they are going to bed.

We also have the magic key which i forgot to take out of the decs box so i have to go back up the loft to get it.
