This evening at 7.25 pm I suddenly remembered I had not got my lottery tickets. No worries you might say, but I have been doing the same numbers since it started and a line of my Mum's which she chose six weeks before she died, and I have never dared stop doing. I think in those nearly 13 years I have a couple of tenners from her numbers, come on Mum shake em up for me please!
I dashed across to the supermarket in the pouring rain, no make up on, and I never go anywhere without mascara lol stumbled to the till and presented my little card with the numbers on. The lad tried it and was refused, I was a minute too late!!!!!
I have been on thorns all evening, tonight would surely be the night my numbers came up, Sod's law, just my luck etc etc!

Well I just got brave enough to check and no more than two numbers right on each line so I can breathe again.

Two lucky people got just over £2 million each. What a Merry old Christmas they will be having!

I always used the same numbers and it was right back when it first started. It had been going for a couple of years and I'd never one a penny. One week I missed and 5 numbers and the bonus came up. I was gutted. After that I mixed them up because really what are the chances of the same numbers coming up again.

I did it for a few years and won one tenner so gave up and decided to save my money instead. Was feeling lucky this weekend so put a couple of pound on. Didn't win anything, don't think I'll bother again I'm just not lucky when it comes to winning. My luck only seems to extend to being undercharged in the shops lol.

S.S. That is exactly what I was worried about, several numbers coming up and me with no ticket. I would have been as gutted as you were, such a bummer to be the week your numbers came up.

I know it is silly but to win a few thousand would mean a very different life for me and many of you know why. I would get my freedom back again.

I did once win £70 but if I had lived at one digit different in my house number I would have had about £137,000 which would have been life changing for me. Suddenly £70 didn't seem much....

Rose, Hayley and Gerri, I am sorry about the makeup, honest I am, but there was so little time and I had been having an at home day so hadn't put any makeup on. Rose, I don't mind coming to live next door, eerrrr, where in the country are you?

I agree, a small amount can make a big difference. A friend wins regularly on the Irish lottery (I don't understand the system) but I'm talking about £400 a time. She's a very lucky person. Won a Wii in a raffle and various other things.

My dad won £28 on the Euro the other week, he was chuffed to bits lol.

Yes, I took some old tickets in the other day just to have them checked before I threw them out, came away £16 richer, as there was a tenner on one I had bought just before I left Wales to come home from hols and there was £6 from Euromillions too, which I had no idea about. I had forgotten my EM ticket too so was on thorns last night as well. It is because I haven't felt well and have been so stressed trying to do all the cards and stuff while o.h. has been at work all the while, and having to go to the hospital with him etc too, been so distracting. Will get next week's tickets tomorrow when I am out doing last minute stuff, just to be on the safe side.

Mwahhh to you too Hayley, this is my only vice lol well my only gambling one - I don't visit casinos! My little dream for a while then I usually watch the draw and see the first couple of numbers pulled out and heyho, back to earth with a thump! lol
