Seem to remember seeing this one before...............

You should be alert during the next days:

Do not open any message with an attached file called 'Merry Christmas'
regardless of who sent it, It is a virus that opens as an Open Log Fire
and will burn the whole hard disc in your computer.

This virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address
in his/her contact list, that is why you should send this e-mail to all
your contacts. It is better to receive this message 25 times than to
receive the virus and open it.

If you receive a mail called 'Merry Christmas', though sent by a friend, do
not open it and shut down your computer immediately. This is the worst
virus announced, it has been classified by Microsoft as the most
destructive virus ever.

This virus was discovered yesterday, and there is no repair
yt for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector
of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is

It's always worth checking with www.stopes.com for these before passing them on.

Missing? Missing? Merely grazing!

Yes, it is a hoax. Always Google things like this.

A little tip:
With something like this, type into Google (accurately) the opening few words of the message verbatim and put it into quotes. That way Google will search for an exact match - it's called a search string. This will work for anything - Google is a lot more powerful than people think and there are loads of other little "extras".

if you are in doubt over any email you get

go to the library

and open them on their computers

Joy, isn't that a bit irresponsible and "I'm alright Jack"?
What about the poor souls who only have access through public computers such as those at the library.
I'm sure your library would soon suspend your membership if they heard that your advice was for people to open dodgy emails on their computers!

my library has great anti virus systems

so they would easily take care of any thing

that maliciously arrived

I repeat what I said and add that even the greatest security software in the world can still potentially leave a system vulnerable.
It's simple - if in doubt, don't open (on anyone's computer!).
