.............................................................................Do you feel a bit 'flat' and fat come to think of it lol.

We had a really busy time of it and I am glad it's over.
I cant be bothered to even go into town for a look around the sales etc.
Anyone else feel the same?

I havent been bothered with the sales this year - but plan to do lots around the house - a new porch for a start - thats a porch ...not a car lol

The redecorate my hall - couldnt be bothered before Christmas as I knew we would be dragging things up and down the stairs.

Went in to the sales but yes everything is always dull and flat in january. Don't want to go into town too much anyway as this winter stomach flu (norovirus) bug is around and I have a phobia of catching it. crowded places are the worst.

Right coffee and smoke break over for the next half hour am gonna go back and try and straighten my front room. Have decided to go back armed with a dustpan and brush rather than clog the hoover for the third time with bits of tree!

Never thought of that Ann, I was blaming the weather.
I dont go out unless I have to if it's wet or really cold.

A lot are being hit by this bug. no doubt it will spread once the school's etc are back.

LOL Marion I should have used a dustpan and brush first time round! So if you havent taken your tree down yet - use a dustpan before the hoover!

why do they always have the sales after christmas when everybody has put on weight. Surely they should give us a few weeks to get trim again..lol

Thought it was just me. The sales hold no interest for me at all as I always think genuine bargains are very few on the ground.

Went to my local High Street today just to buy some birthday cards. Was lured into BHS and finished up buying some bath sheets down from £19 to £7.60 each. Mind you I did need new towels and I think I have got a genuine reduction. That's me done until the summer sales lolol.

I think there are some good bargains, but a lot are not as good as they seem.

Hubby bought a leather Jacket £300 down to £99. I doubt it was worth the £300 in first place.

I did buy my crackers from tesco, down from £12 to £3 odds. That might be my only bargain lol.
