I always looked more like my dads side of the family. My elder sis was the spitting image of my Mum and got more so as she got older. we lost mum in 1980 aged 71 and when sis got near that age it was so spooky to see her it could have been MUM. She passed age 71 too!! |

When i first got married in the 70's i stayed in London and my parents moved to Cornwall.I took up a evening job in a bingo hall after have my first baby. There was a lady that used to come in one day a week and was identical to my mum.I missed my mum so much,i used to stare at her.Now years later when i found out family, she was my mums baby sister.Mum and all her sisters were adopted after there mum died.We knew about the baby but she was never approached as she did not know. She died in 1997 before she ever knew about us. Annie, that is so sad! What a shame you never got to talk to her and find out who she was all those years before but obviously not meant to be. |
