I will sign Heather, I have to shop carefully but if its not free range, I dont but it.

Our eggs come from a wonderful farm where the chickens have names and my little ones go for picnics from school!!

Battery eggs are already being phased out and will have disappeared in the not too distant future according to new EU legislation (although prices will also increase). Obviously this cannot happen overnight.
This at first sounds like good news until you realise that the campaign is actually against chickens bred for meat and these continue to be reared in battery conditions.
