Taff - when you signed up you gave permission in all likelihood for them to send you updates. You will still exist on the mailing list and (probably) need to be taken off that list physically - it is not a scam - it is not a rip off - it is just one of those things and in the great scheme of things does it matter?
What would be the basis of your legal action?
