when I was about three being carried around Woolworths by an uncle of mine and I had a little green handbag of which I'd chewed the covering off the handle - and then running down the road from our cottage to the next thinking "I'm 4!, I'm 4!

When I was about 2 - my dad had bought me a housework set which included a broom. I was sweeping and had my mouth open - anyone who knows me will know I always have my mouth open talking - and I fell on the handle and hurt the roof of my mouth - did not eat for a week - then past a bakery and asked for a cream bun !!!!

We were living in Malta, and it was before I could talk, I was sitting in my pushchair, going over bumpy ground. I started going 'Aaaah' because I liked the sound it made with the bumps. Mum stopped the pushchair to check I was okay - she thought I was crying!!

I was six, weeding in the front garden. The window was open and my mother came out and said "there,s a war on"..
I said , "I know. Just heard it on the wireless - 'this country is now at war with Germany'".

Happy days
