Hi Mo and Ann, not sure how it can be done either. I think it would be a lot better to meet the therapist face to face, but I'll give it a go as I need to get from where I am now. If I feel that it isn't working then I'll tell the therapist that it isn't, then go on from there. The family and a few of my friends all think that it's a bit strange having a therapy session over the phone. I think it might be called progress! I'll certainly keep you all informed on how it's going.
Love, Sallie.xx

Sallie,do you mean to tell me that you won't actually be seeing the therapist,in person. How the heck is that supposed to work. I have to admit I have never heard off it happening like that before. Give it a go love, and if it doesn't help,go back and see the doctor please. Will you keep us updated on how you think it's going. I bought more pressies today,so that tommorrow I only have to buy four more. At least that way,I wont have so much problem in carrying them. That will total 66 stocking fillers, that I have bought. It's not the buying so much,it's the wrapping off them. I normally end up wrapped in the selotape as well as the gifts. We had the men to do our loft insulation today. It goes to show how much the old insulation had decreased in depth. The new lot is about 10 inches in depth. So we should be nice and warm upstairs now. I think we are in for a very windy night,I just hope we don't lose any slates off of the roof. I hope Marie is o.k,also Debbie. Night Night all. Love Mo xxx of the roof

Hi All,
Mo, so pleased you won at darts last night. Well done to all the team! Enjoy your shopping trip tomorrow. Hope you can get all your Christmas finished. Have you got many presents left to buy? I was just thinking, that it's always us women that have to buy all the presents, if it was left to the men I don't think anyone would get anything. Enjoy your sing-song on the bus.
Huia, hope you get your eye problem sorted when you see the specialist, it's gone on for a long while now. Enjoy your meeting with Norma, it will be lovely for the both of you to meet up and have a good old chin wag. Take care!
Jean, thanks for your pm. I've just read it, I'll send you a reply later on. You are brave going to the dentist! I wish I was the same.
Ann, like you and your hubby, Alun and I always get the bus if we are going up to town, and we mostly catch the bus when we go to Nottingham or Derby, it's so much easier than the car--no searching for a parking place, and no parking fees.
I got a phone call today, telling me that I will be starting a therapy course on Monday at 1-30p.m. It will all be done over the phone, one session a week for six weeks. Not sure how I feel about that, I'll just have to try it and see how it will go.
Hope everyone else is alright. Speak to you all tomorrow.
Take care! Love, Sallie.xxx

Huia, and Norma have a lovely time together, so nice to meet up with people, I am hoping for another mini meet with Daff before Christmas.
Mo, well done on winning good scores too.
Enjoy your shop tomorrow, we never take the car to town now, for a start it is good to be able to have a glass of wine with lunch without worrying about the driver.

Huia, how lovely. I do hope you have a lovely meet with Norma. Now I must just phone the local police, and warn them that two little chatter boxes are going to be in town. And good luck with the eye specialist. Perhaps now they will sort out the constant, eye problems that you have been having
Just to let you know Ann,we won last night. 4-2 in the team game, and 2-1 in the pairs. Whats the weather like where you all are. Here in Kent,it is blowing a gale still, and very very overcast. I have got the gas fire on to keep warm. As of yet,we have not had the central heating on.
Tommorrow,I am off to Maidstone, with my friends,to hopefully finish the christmas present buying. Thank the lord for the free bus pass. Even though I can drive,it is easier by bus,no parking fees and searching for a space to park,in the first place.
I am getting a little worried,as one off my friends, has threatened to sing The Wheels of The Bus go round and round, when we get on the bus. Now this is coming from a lady who is 65. Knowing our luck, she will get us thrown off,at the next bus stop. LOL
I will be back this evening,so I will see you all then. Love Mo xxx

There is a mini-meet taking place tomorrow. Persephone aka Norma is coming to Papakura to meet me after I see my eye specialist. I hope I get to sleep tonight, had trouble last night. I will take a sleeping pill (or half one) and set the alarm to go off at 6am as the appointment is at 8.10 and it takes 30 mins to get there, maybe more if the traffic/fog are bad or the lights against me. Maybe I will go to bed fully clothed so I am ready to take off!
Huia.

Hi Everyone,
Just dropped in to see how you all are.Thank you Mo and Ann for the advice on the insurance, I'll be speaking to Jennie later on, so I'll let her know. Ann the only think that didn't break was the perpetual calendar that Alun and I bought her last Christmas, that was on a different wall, so that was saved.
I'm trying to get the scrapbook finished, I'm getting there, but very slowly.
Still waiting for the therapist to get in touch, I gave the place a ring today as I thought that a letter might have got lost in the post. James (the therapist ) wasn't in today, so the lady I spoke to checked to see if he had tried to get in touch with me, but he hasn't even sent a letter. So I'm hoping he will be in touch soon.
Hope you are all alright. Speak to you later!
Love, Sallie.xx

Poor Jennie, besides the fact that Betty Boop figurines are very collectable and possibly worth a bit, it is upsetting if you have spent time building a collection to have it wiped out like that. Did every one of them smash? I can only echo Mo and suggest checking her contents insurance, although sometimes things that are of some value have to be named separately.

What do you mean, getting to old for a dog Sallie. Think off all the exercise you would get. And how much company they give you, also they don't answer you back. I am so glad you liked the card,it is lovely isn't it.

Mo, thank you for your e-mail card, it's really lovely. I love labradors, we had a golden lab years ago, she was such a beautiful dog, so loving and gentle. We had to have her put to sleep when Richard was three, and just weeks before Jennie was born. She had cancer for the last year of her life, she was thirteen and a half. I'd love another labrador, but I think that both Alun and I are getting too old for another dog.

Just seen your message Mo! Sorry to hear about your daughter, lets hope that she can carry on working until retirement, so that she gets a full pension. You are right about the lucky bags Mo, they've still got the same rubbish in them, the only difference is that they are double the price, to what they use to be.
So, pleased that you had a lovely day with your grandchildren, it's great to have them stay for the day.
I'm going to make us some tea now, I sure Alun is beginning to think that we are not having any today.
Love, Sallie.xx

Oh Sallie, what a shame all Jennies, Betty Boo ornaments. Can you claim on the house insurance for them. I know they are a special edition, but it will enable her to buy some others, and unfortunately,to start again. That shelf should not have come away from the wall like that. Mind you,if Roly had put it up,it probably would have done. LOL I will send you the card as soon as I close on here,so watch out for it. I hope you are feeling a little better today. Take care off yourself. Love Mo xxx

Hello All,
Hope the weather is better where you are, than it is here--it's wet, windy and gone much colder, best place is to be is at home with the heating on.
Mo, I didn't receive an e-mail Christmas card off you, it probably got lost in the system somewhere.
Ann, I hadn't heard of Home Sense, I should think that it's the same kind of shop as Home Bargains.
Liz, you are not the only one that hasn't done any cards ready for Christmas, I didn't even buy mine until yesterday. I'll have to try and make a start writing them.
Jean, sounds as though the house is getting back into order, it will be good to have it nice for Christmas.
Jennie was a bit upset this morning, a shelf that was put up about about five weeks ago ( one of those shelves from Ikea, where it looks as though it hasn't got any brackets ) just fell off the wall, and all her Betty Boop figures smashed to bits. A few of them were limited editions, and cost quite a bit more money, so she won't be able to replace them.
Hope you are all okay!
Speak to you all later.
Love, Sallie.xxx

Evening everyone,I'm back. We have had the grandchildren here for the day. I have been busy doing Word Searches, and Spot the Difference, with the youngest. She is six,and she has thoroughly enjoyed herself, getting me searching for her. Thats in between cooking dinner, and doing tea for them. But I am not compaining,as I only see them once a fortnight. I got them a Lucky Bag each,do you remember them. The only thing is,how much they have gone up in price, since mine were small. I believe we used to pay £1.00 for them, but they are now priced at £2.00,and they still have thesame rubbish in them they have always had. I won't be getting them in a hurry again. I thought after all this time they would have improved them somewhat. I hope the vitamin D helps Liz. Do you take it by tablet form,or injection. It's always a shame when you lose a good neighbour. You are never sure who is going to replace them, they could be the neighbours from hell. I spoke to my daughter today. She had to go and see her specialist on Friday. They took more xraysof all her joints, and asked her,was she aware that she has got a broken toe. As she has got rheumatoid arthritus, she told them that she is in so much pain, that she would not have known,if she had broken her leg,let alone her toe. Once again they have upped her medication, and given her another steroid injection. I do feel for her,as if she has to give her job up,she will be so upset. She has worked very hard to get to this point in her life. And at 44 she really wants to continue,so that she will get a full pension, when she retires. But,what will be,will be. I hope you all have had a good day. It's been awful here again, rain and gale force winds. Take care everyone. Love to you all. Mo xxx
