Morning Daff and all:-) Cloudy here this morning but I am waiting for the promised sunshine with great excitement! Not that I like extreme heat, but good weather seems to cheer people up doesnt it. Off to the park with doggie and then shall show my face in work. The Dragon is fading fast but as she is entertaining a young man from Brazil over the weekend, that should perk her up. The fact that he is after her money is neither here nor there:-) lol,

Jac, your friend sounds like my o.h. - he is the biggest ditherer in the world, well in Norfolk anyway lol I do hope your friend likes her curtains and doesn't decide to go back and change them. I am looking forward to Dunelm opening here this summer, never found the time to go in to the one near Llanelli so was chuffed to little mintballs to read that we are getting one here.

Wish they would give us an Ikea too, it's too far to go to browse lol

Daff, you take things easy lady, stop dashing about quite so much and pace yourself so you don't get anymore blips. I bet you will tease those poor girls something rotten tho, poor things. Enjoy youself.

Hello everyone... had a lovely day, and got back about 8.30pm...

Hello Berona.... this thread, and it's predecessors, have been my lifeline, and the main reason I have giggled and laughed my way through some fairly unpleasant treatment, lol...... so folk on here have a lot to answer for... the nurses reckoned I was nuts, lolol!! ;¬)) Thank you for your well wishes... hopefully, the worst of the treatment is over... it is just a case of sitting tight and waiting to see!!

A preggers bush??? Well, it is an ordinary bush or flower that is not due to flower until next year.... sort of when my vulnerable time was over, lol.... sort of like a pregnancy... and me being me, put the plant and the pregnancy together in a flight of fancy... and ended up with my pregnant shrub... which I still haven't got yet!! I saw LOADS that I would like... but will wait until I have seen the garden take shape... it will go in my GR bit of garden!!

Jac... I'd need the smelling salts... 6 hours? I thought I was bad enough with 2 1/2 and that included two comfort visits and a cappuchino, lol!! If your friend asks you again... well, just hide, lol!!

BC..... My DiL has a brother in Madrid...... she pops off to the bullfight every time she goes over there... but her Spanish SiL absolutely hates it!! I just like looking at the derrieres, lol..... ;¬)) That's the best bit about Rugby too, lolol.

Taff, I will never be able to look at a tumble dryer without thinking that now!! I could end up being dragged out of Curry's by the men in white coats cos of hysterics in the white goods department... lolol.

Mau, it was just one of those things... I've had a couple of *down* times, but not a good cry, so it has probably done me the world of good!! Released all those *good* hormones and endorphins and stuff..... so that should be me sorted for a few months yet, lol!

Jean, I'll keep J in my prayers.... and my thoughts... you too, it's often more difficult for those standing by and watching. What day does he have his op next week?

Well, off to bed now... I am off for a trip to Cribbs Causeway in Bristol tomorrow with my sister, her daughter and the daughter of another sister.... sounds complicated, lol.... but isn't really.... I will get spoiled by the girls... and they'll get spoiled by me, perfect!! The younger girl has never been on a shopping trip with us before.... and her mum hates it, so hopefully she will have a really good time with us. I just love to watch the expression on the 20 year old's face when I show her something hideous, saying *this is lovely, it'll look fabulous on you* lololol!! I hope the 15 year old realises it's all a game!!

Night night all... must go and get my beauty sleep!!

I have just spent 6 hours (yes 6 hours) in Dunelm, with a friend who needed some curtains. 6 hours to choose some curtains (cream) must be some kind of record eh??? Sheesh.......I think I'm picky but she takes the biscuit - lol

I am truely knackered!!

I am intrigued as to what constitutes a pregnant bush! please advise a.s.a.p. cos I might have to put some of mine on the Pill or something! I dont want any more bushes!

Daff, am so glad you have gotten over your tiny 'blip'...it was bound to happen and now that is that as Bette Davies said...on with the Motley! Ahhhh Barcelona:-) Had the most wonderful time in one of the most beautiful cities. I thoroughly agree about those tight little bottoms one would love to pinch and.....*looks round and *whispers...I do enjoy a bullfight but don't tell anyone. Have put your present together with Hayley's which she hasnt bothered opening yet..tsk tsk....

Well, let's get ready to play... I am driving to my sister and then we are off to McArthur Glen for a coffee.... and we'll look for a pregnant bush on the way... long story, but some wonderful person suggested I get a shrub or plant that is due to flower next year... and to treat the next 9 months like a pregnancy, lol... Brilliant idea, so I have started my hunt for a pregnant bush, lol!! Watch this space!!

Morning Daff, I've just had a replacement tumble drier delivered, now its all sparkley and white,so it makes everthing else in the kitchen look grubby! No pleasing some folk!LOL
Hope your feeling in a better frame of mind today? cos I'll be over to tickle you senseless otherwise!

Oh Jac, I have such a picture of you delivering all those tomato plants, would have had a couple had I been closer lol Hope they all grow wonderfully and everyone can eat healthy home grown toms.

Daff, glad you had Jethro to snuggle with when you were low, and hope you will continue to feel stronger and stronger, who else will sort your sisters and Mum out lol

Now I have a little more time to get those plants to you, might have a chance over the weekend to post on Tuesday, you never know your luck!

hope the paracetamols have worked chook))))) that will teach you to wallop the stuff down when you are feeling a bit down - you stick to hot chocolate next time you feel a bit like that girl (and I hope there will never be another "next" time like that for you) (((HUG)))) and I dont normally "do" hugs and things.

I'm just back from trudging around with tom.plants - I gave one or two to each passing stranger, dropped some of every door step - (even the buggers who didnt want 'em) May 19th is now officially Tomato Day!!

The heavens opened at one point and it might be my imagination, but I think I can feel a sore throat coming on - maybe it was just the smell of the toms??

Anyway, today is today, yesterday was yesterday and is now in the past. Onwards and upwards flower - you've a garden to plan and a hunky bloke arriving any day soon. Would he win in a Wet T-shirt contest? I reckon he would, so lets hope for slight showers when he arrives eh? )))
