That's a bit naughty of N, Maz :-( I know parcels are expensive to post now, but a gift card tucked inside the main card would be easy to send.

We got back a little while ago YG. It was so lovely to see DET and meet her OH. It was a bit cold and my knee started to give me some pain so we left just after lunch. I am now sitting with legs up to try and get the swelling down. Roll on May when hopefully my visit to my consultant will result in the second knee op.

As we will be down their way in the Summer for our Hols we will have to make up for this short meet and spend a bit more time together.

Sorry that your knee is giving some aggro, LG. We are a pair of old crocks :-D :-D :-D :-D My foot isn't great, although the tablets do help, but I can't stay on them indefinitely :-(

Where and when are you going further darn sarf for your holidays? If I am off at the same time, we could maybe all meet up then if you are planning to see DET whilst you are there.

Usual time YG. Beginning of August for us. Knee feeling a little better now I have sat with it up. Knowing my luck the op time will come those 2 weeks we are away. :-|

It was good to see LG & her OH, even if it was only for a short whole. It was rather parky despite dressed for it! Roll on summer and another attempt. You've got 12 months to visit again if you had the urge !

Hotel & evening meal good. Internet a bit flakey.

Morning all. Sorry I disappeared and missed you all. I had to take my painkillers and fell asleep. OH woke me at 11.30 and packed me off to bed where I zonked out again straight away and have just got up at 7.30. Powerful things those hence I never take them when I am out and about driving.
It was a lovely day albeit a short one this time and now looking forward to the summer to make it up. :-D :-D :-D.
I will definitely reschedule an op if it is offered at that time as I will not miss out on a holiday. :-D :-D :-D
I seem to recall that H used to have problems with signal up there DET. We did say we will probably go back when it's a bit warmer as it is only three quarters of an hour to drive to. Are you going into the city itself for a nose around before coming home DET ?

LG, we've never heard you really complaining about your joints before. It's such a shame it spoilt yesterdays outing for you both. We left about 3pm after OH had his fill at the NCM. It was his 'Day'. We had listened to one of the volunteers talking about the Collosus and Tuney machines. Very interesting once we'd found a seat.

2nd honeymoon? Pfft! What with an early start and 2 hours drive, we werent fit for anything but sleep! I don't think we'll be exploring the city. Far too many roundabouts. We're debating whether to eat breakfast here or pop into one of the store cafes in the Park.

Think the Internet played up because it was a match day & fans had connected. Better now. Got to go now xxxx

Morning DET. Asda just over the way do a good breakfast and you can walk it from the hotel in minutes. My left knee gives me hell as it is waiting for the chop :-D :-D :-D. New one is fine when it's not too cold and damp which was what made it play up yesterday.
