My crystal ball is safe inside my tin hat and the broomstick is in it's usual place hanging under our back porch. Just ask our visitors as they have to walk past it to get in :-D :-D :-D :-D

morning all
a short shift today B should be Okay she has had some good experience with the school she was in and They were pleased with her it means she will be always chasing temporary contracts sadly .A has a steady job just not well paid so they would struggle to meet their Lifestyle it may wake them up a little .
N and A have struggled and manage on very little to the point I am not sure how .However they have a good circle of support and they have been in a group where they recycle and share everything they are not materialistic at all .the Bump is doing well and growing well too .

Morning all.

It's such a shame if B will be chasing short term contracts for most of her working life. We can understand what you mean about lifestyle choices - many youngsters starting out want everything 'now' and aren't willing to save up until they can afford it.
Well done to N for living on fresh air; perhaps she can give them some tips? It's good to hear that Bump is developing nicely. How long until the big day?

How come youre having to delay your leave YG? Is it because your colleague is still off sick? I suppose you'll still have a long Easter break if you have it from Easter Mionday. Mind you, you could have made a point by taking next week without a hand-over.

We're having to wait in today for a delivery; OH had been given a carpentary project by Eldest. At least it wil give him a purpose for a while ;-)

Morning all,

Maz so pleased to hear the Bump is doing well <3. I expect you are starting to get the urge to buy those lovely little bits ;-) :-D :-D.

I will need to find my OH something to keep him occupied in a while by the sound of things.
I have just finished changing the bed and cleaning upstairs, now sitting on my butt for a few minutes with my caffeine kick before starting down here :-P.

Morning LG.

Start making that list, and encourage him to do the same :-D
Think of all the trips you can take to visit H and the littlies - no more waiting until he can take time off!

It does take a few months for you to both accept you have to design a new household schedule, but you'll get there. That's one reason why we take turns to cook. Either try not to take it as a slur if he gets out the vac or On the other hand you could encourage him to do just that ;-)

He is well housetrained already DET. Not adverse to washing, ironing and cooking. He has looked after me after the kids and also when I was laid up with the knee op. His ex never used to lift a finger so he had to do it. :-(

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 18 Mar 2016 10:40

OH can't iron to save his life, well probably an exaggeration. BM got so embarrassed watching him struggle when I had to go to my parents, he did it for him.
He used to be so proud if he'd put the vac round when he was out of work. He seemed to be asking for a pat on the back. Sheesh.
Cooking was limited to a Saturday fry-up. He's a lot better now ;-)

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 18 Mar 2016 10:45

Can't complain about his ironing it's better than mine :-D :-D :-D.
