:-D :-D :-D :-D David, I don't eat the chips but I do like a nice bit of battered fish and the decadence of a pineapple ring or two

YG Report 18 Mar 2016 17:30

You like a nice bit of battered chips, LG!! Where can you get those from :-D :-D :-D :-D

Is your OH up for retiring soon? You'll never be here :-D :-D :-D :-D ;-) ;-)

Weekend, thank goodness. I am working Mon, Tues and Wednesday then I have done! I had four days leave to use up, but because the following week Friday is 1st April, they won't let me use this year's allocation for it, so I have booked next Thursday off to start my holidays. I have to use one day of 16/17's allocation for Friday 1st :-P :-P

I am contemplating fish'n'chips, but undecided :-D :-D Not sure that I am hungry enough!

Guess what we had a Sains on Wednesday? ;-) :-D
Mind you, they don't serve pineapple rings with it, just garden or mushy peas and a lemon wedge.
If you're avoiding fried chips LG, you could try home made oven cooked potato wedges.

YG - Despite the disappointment, you've a short week before your break. Good for you.

OH is cross. He was expecting a delivery of wood he couldn't fit in the car. No email. No phone call. Nothing. No point chasing it now as they'll have gone home. :-|

I don't have chips or wedges as I don't like them DET. Much prefer New potato, mash or better still baked. I am a pasta fiend too :-D :-D :-D.

Oh dear a grouchy OH :-0 :-0 :-0

YG Report 18 Mar 2016 18:42

Evening DET :-)

How frustrating when a delivery doesn't turn up and no notification to say why! Some companies just don't deserve the business :-(

Yes, it has worked in my favour, apart from the hiccup with 1st April, so I will have a nice long break :-) :-)

LG, no battered chips, so I am having a jacket potato, cheese and bacon :-D :-D

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 18 Mar 2016 18:49

That's more my thing YG. Though I would personally skip the cheese and have Baked Beans instead, cos I'm a good girl :-D :-D :-D

Whoa, I didn't want cause disruption over a poke o chips
I'd enough to share. For those not so fond of fission chips how about a pizza or a
Chinese or even an Indian takeaway, or they deliver. (?)

How long has it been DVLA? Would a faith healer make my knee bend?
Would reiki? or acupuncture?

YG Report 18 Mar 2016 19:27

I have a brother aged 69 who since he was a teenager has done his own ironing.
He is recently retired from the army RCL and before that RAOC
Very disciplined, won't let his wife do the ironing. Polishes his shoes every day.
