Maz, good morning, I read you can get copper insoles
said to be very good. The copper draws out any impurities they say.

Afternoon all. DET they are only handerchief sized lawns so only take minutes :-D :-D :-D.
I have sat down in Archive all morning shuffling papers so I am now well rested.

I thought so Det, knew you weren't being rude.

No., I haven't located it yet and its rang twice. Wonder if it was kicked under the bed?

David Report 23 Mar 2016 15:06

How's your family tree? I have both sides of mine going back to GGGF confirmed :-D

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 23 Mar 2016 16:50

David, its certainly worth looking under the bed. If Mrs David isn't able to get down to have a look, it may have to wait until your lady-wot-does comes to clean.

The furthest I've tentively got back to are great x 8 grandparents who married on [J] 19 Oct 1675, but of course, its always possible that I've latched onto the only records available rather than assuming some are missing/not on line.
Realisticaly, I get excited if I can get confirmation back into the 1700's!

Small lawns can take as much effort to mow as larger ones - its all that swinging the machine around at the end of a row! Glad you're feeling suitable rested LG.

Lunch was OK and very busy. We wouldn't go there for a full price main meal. At least it made a change and was only a couple of £ more than we'd have spent at Sains.
Sains had one of their 25% off clothing events - I bought a pair of summer weight trousers I'd previously spotted. Before anyone moans - I used a gift card!!! :-D

On both my maternal and paternal sides I have my Grand Father's Grand Fathers.
Earlier I had been attracted by my Father's family name Irvine and my Mother's maiden name of Atkinson. Consequently I'd a huge tree consisting of people who were not related. The ones I do have to GGGF have been the verified.

I found my phone

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 23 Mar 2016 18:14

Go on - tell us where the phone was ;-) :-D

YG Report 23 Mar 2016 18:37

Evening everyone :-)

I have now finished until Monday 4th April, but finished up staying until 5.45 to get most of it done. I need to chiil out now and get work out of my head before bedtime :-D :-D

Do tell about the phone, David. My battery went flat on me overnight, so the alarm didn't go off this morning and I overlaid by an hour and a half. Still made it to work for 8am though :-D :-D

Put your feet up YG, and 'zone out'. ;-)
Have you drawn up a schedule for your spring clean or has that got thrown out of the window??

YG

YG Report 23 Mar 2016 18:52

I'll just take it as it comes, or when I feel like doing it, DET :-D :-D If it all gets done, it does and if it doesn't, it doesn't :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Ideally I could do with painting, but don't want to tackle the ceilings, so will probably opt out :-D :-D

That's the best way - life's too short worrying about dust or grubby walls. That's my theory.....and I'm sticking to it!!

David Report 23 Mar 2016 19:04

Right hand pocket of my pair of jeans :-D

YG

YG Report 23 Mar 2016 19:11

Well that figures, David :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D Pleased that you have found it though :-)

Just off to finish cooking so I can eat!! I will be back :-D :-D :-D :-D

Evening all. Just back from an evening appointment with doc for a check of the new meds he gave me. I have passed my MOT and have to continue taking them. I will be rattling soon ;-) :-D :-D :-D. Seemed strange going to surgery tonight as it was very nearly empty

YG

YG Report 23 Mar 2016 20:52

Evening LG :-) Our surgery closes at 6pm LG!! No late appointments like yours :-0

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 23 Mar 2016 20:59

They have only just started doing them it was quite a surprise to me when I booked it.

YG

YG Report 23 Mar 2016 21:06

It is definitely more helpful, particularly for people who work full time. I can get a late appointment for for my retinopathy scan, where evenings are very useful. If I need to go to the gp, I try to get an early morning or after work, but sometimes have to grab whatever is available :-|

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 23 Mar 2016 21:21

I usually prefer morning appointments but this was the only one I could get with this doctor as it had to be him to do the review. Very handy for full time workers though.

YG

YG Report 23 Mar 2016 21:28

I think I will be having an early night tonight !! My brain is still an hour behind the rest of me today and it has been a really hectic day :-(

I need to set the alarm to get up in the morning to put the bins out :-( :-( :-( :-( I daren't leave them on the street overnight in case someone contaminates thet, or I'll have notices stuck on them :-D :-D At least I don't have to get up 6am :-D :-D I think 7am will be soon enough :-D :-D

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 23 Mar 2016 21:31

Middle of the night :-0 :-0 :-0. I have not got to rush about in the morning or anytime in the day for that matter. I will have to go and get my next prescription but other than that I can toottle about the house at my own pace :-D :-D :-D
