When I was in the RVI Newcastle 3 years ago a man in his eighties had both knees done at the same time. He was soon walking on them.
Didn't get them done to sit about he so often said.

LG will be bionic when she has had her other knee done! There will be keeping her back, so I think we need a pair of reins to put on her :-D :-D :-D :-D

Gardening done for today. My poorly foot won't allow me to walk around any more :-( I think I am going to have to go back to the gp and get the referral to the podiatrist. We can all join the same club :-D :-D :-D :-D

It is still lovely outside so I may call at the shops and get some flowers and take them to the churchyard and brighten it up for Easter. I'm sure the Mother's Day flowers will be past it by now :-) Orther than that, it is relaxation time and perhaps doing a little course work whilst on my backside :-)

We are both cream crackered :-D :-D :-D :-D I have been to the churchyard with some flowers and then ironed all the bedding and a few other bits. Got a bit left, but no rush.

I have put a miniature standard rose in the border that R&M bought me for Mother's Day. It was in a lovely pot for indoors, but I overwatered it and it wasn't well!! I think it will recover nicely outside.

At least you've both been able to enjoy 'outside' while the weather was good.

All 8 & a bit of us met for the meal. A was the centre of attention as always.
The gastro-pub was packed. We had to wait for our table then about 20 mins for them to take our order. The food was worth it when it eventually arrived :-)

Evening all, just installed windows 10 so I have been playing :-D :-D :-D. It will take a little while for me to learn to drive it :-D

I keep getting the reminder, LG, but am a little bit hesitant. How long did it take to install it?

About half an hour in all. I am impressed as it is a lot quicker than 7. Just takes a bit of experimenting to work out how to use it but easy

30 mins seems quite quick for a download. By waiting, you've allowed time for them to sort the bugs out. One of these days we're going to have to fork out for a legitimate copy. In the meantime we'll potter on with what we've got.

I'm not really sure what I'm doing today !! A quick trip to the local shops is about the limit of my travels today. I think I will let the day take it's own course, depending how I'm feeling :-D :-D

Afternoon all, we had a potter around the town and our usual lunch out. Back now in the warm as the wind is really cold today and we have horrible drizzle too. Out again in a while to see son as it is his birthday today.

I have downloaded Windows 10. Two hours by the time it was all done, but easy to do. I need to get used to it now. They are putting the same software on at work soon, but it will be good practice finding my way around :-D :-D

Had a lazy day apart from that, although just going to finish ironing off.

He is here now so I have passed on your best wishes and he says thanks. Download was no problem for us more than I can say for SKY. :-|. We have had problems with the box and then trying to cancel movie channel without them trying to pressure us into buying more channels that we don't want. Fortunately son has a way with them and he sorted it for us :-D :-D :-D

Same here. We thought we would have to go to his but he has called in on his way home from work. Just given him another task to undertake :-D
